Carrier Electric Heat Kit with Circuit Breaker Single Phase

The Carrier Electric Heat Kit with Circuit Breaker line gives compatible Carrier air handlers and fan coil systems supplemental electric resistance heating. These single-phase electric heater kits, also called heat strips or auxiliary heat kits, are common in heat pump systems. They add heat when outdoor temperatures drop or during defrost cycles.

Key Features:

• Integrated circuit breaker: built-in overcurrent protection helps meet electrical code requirements. It can also reduce the need for separate protection components.
• Single-phase operation: designed for single-phase power supplies on compatible equipment.
• Alloy heating elements: open-coil elements generate heat efficiently and are built for long service life.
• Limit controls: the kits include the safety limit controls needed for dependable operation.
• OEM-engineered design: built to match the electrical connections and airflow design of compatible Carrier units.
• Residential and light commercial use: suited to comfort heating applications.

These field-installed kits are made for Carrier-compatible equipment and installed per the manufacturer's instructions. Select the child item that matches your required kW capacity and voltage.
