Motorad Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor OEM-Grade Replacement

The Motorad Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor is an OEM-grade replacement engine temperature sensor (also called a coolant temp sensor or ECT sensor). It monitors engine coolant temperature and sends that signal to the engine control module. The ECM uses the signal to help manage fuel delivery, ignition timing, cooling fan operation and temperature gauge readings.

Key Features:

• OEM-grade design for dependable, accurate temperature readings
• Helps the engine control module maintain proper air-fuel mixture and engine performance
• Supports correct cooling fan operation and dashboard temperature gauge function
• Built to meet the demands of heat, vibration and constant coolant exposure
• Direct-replacement design for straightforward installation

A failing coolant temperature sensor can cause hard starting, poor fuel economy, rough idle, overheating symptoms or a check engine light. Replacing it with a quality Motorad sensor helps restore accurate engine temperature monitoring and efficient engine operation. Motorad is a well-known supplier of engine thermal management components, including thermostats, sensors and related parts.
