Genuine BMW Self-Locking Hex Nut

The Genuine BMW Self-Locking Hex Nut is an original equipment fastener made to BMW specifications. Self-locking nuts are also called lock nuts or locking hex nuts. They hold a threaded connection securely in place, even where vibration and temperature changes would loosen a standard nut.

Key Features:

• Genuine BMW original equipment part
• Hex-style nut for use with standard wrenches and sockets
• Self-locking design resists loosening from vibration
• Made to the fit and quality standards BMW requires for its vehicles

Self-locking nuts are generally designed for one-time use. Replace them with new hardware whenever the connection is disassembled. Using genuine BMW fasteners helps keep the assembly reliable and consistent with factory specifications.
