Dayco Classical V-Belt Accessory Drive Belt

The Dayco Classical V-Belt is an accessory drive belt (also called a V-belt or fan belt) for transmitting power from the crankshaft pulley to engine accessories. Depending on the application, those accessories can include the alternator, water pump, power steering pump, air conditioning compressor and cooling fan. Classical V-belts use a traditional trapezoidal profile that fits into the grooves of matching V-pulleys.

Key Features:

• Traditional V-belt profile that wedges into the pulley groove for dependable power transfer
• Rubber construction with reinforcing cord for strength and resistance to stretching
• Built to handle heat, oil exposure and the demands of continuous engine operation
• Available in multiple lengths and widths to match different drive systems
• Made by Dayco, a long-established supplier of belts, hoses and engine drive components to the automotive aftermarket

Replacing a worn, cracked or glazed V-belt helps prevent slippage, squealing and loss of accessory performance. Choose the correct size for your application and confirm that the belt is properly tensioned after installation.
