Hawk SuperDuty Ferro-Carbon Brake Pads

Hawk SuperDuty Ferro-Carbon disc brake pads are built for trucks and SUVs that tow and haul heavy loads, and for commercial fleet vehicles. The friction technology comes from Hawk Performance's work with heavy-duty, mining, construction and military applications. Its Ferro-Carbon compound has a very high coefficient of friction. It is designed to deliver strong stopping power under high-inertia and repeated braking.

Key Features:

• Ferro-Carbon friction material engineered for severe-duty use and heavy payloads
• Excellent fade resistance at the high brake temperatures that come with towing and hauling
• Stable friction output for consistent, predictable braking
• Extended pad life and rotor life thanks to good high-temperature wear performance
• Improved braking over OE pads in demanding applications
• Made in the USA by Hawk Performance

These pads suit heavy-duty pickups, work trucks and large SUVs that regularly tow or carry heavy loads. Some vehicles with undersized brake systems also benefit if the factory pads overheat. Expect some brake dust, which is typical of a severe-duty compound. As with all brake pads, inspect them regularly and replace them when the friction material is worn down.
