ATD Tools and Supplies Replacement Coarse Grit Grinding Wheel

The ATD Tools Replacement Coarse Grit Grinding Wheel is an aluminum oxide bench grinder wheel. Use it to replace a worn or glazed wheel on your bench grinder. The coarse 36 grit removes material quickly, which suits shaping, deburring, rough sharpening and general metal cleanup in the shop or garage.

Key Features:

• Aluminum oxide abrasive for general-purpose grinding on ferrous metals and steel
• Coarse 36 grit for fast stock removal and aggressive shaping
• Replacement design restores grinding performance on a compatible bench grinder
• Marked with a maximum operating speed. Use the wheel only on a grinder that does not exceed this rating.

Use a coarse wheel for heavy material removal, such as removing rust, weld spatter or burrs, and for reshaping tools and metal parts. For a finer finish or fine sharpening, use a finer grit wheel after the rough work. Always wear eye protection, use the grinder's guards and tool rests, and follow the grinder manufacturer's safety instructions when you mount and run the wheel.
