Firestone Red Label Ride-Rite Extreme Duty Air Spring Kit

The Firestone Red Label Ride-Rite Extreme Duty Air Spring Kit (also called an air helper spring kit or air bag suspension kit) is Firestone's toughest line of aftermarket air springs. It is built for trucks that tow heavy trailers or haul awkward, heavy loads. The air springs install between the frame and the rear suspension. They help restore the vehicle's ride height and support the load.

Key Features:

• Heavy-duty construction: Each air spring has four layers of reinforced commercial-grade rubber and a braided wire girdle. The girdle forms the double-convoluted shape and adds burst strength under high pressure.
• High pressure range: Red Label springs are designed to operate at up to 150 PSI. This gives them more load-leveling capacity than other Ride-Rite lines.
• Corrosion-resistant end plates: Metal end plates are secured with a rolled crimp seal that helps prevent leaks.
• Manual inflation: Separate valves let you inflate each side independently, like filling a tire. You can adjust pressure for the load and correct off-center loads. An air compressor is sold separately.
• Improved ride and stability: The springs help reduce sagging, bottoming out and body roll. They also cut strain on the leaf springs and absorb road shock.
• No-drill installation: The kits use a bolt-on design and come with instructions.
