Product Details

COMP Cams PTFE valve stem oil seals (also called positive stop valve seals or valve guide seals) help keep unwanted oil from entering the combustion chamber through the clearance in the valve guides. They suit performance and racing engine builds that need dependable oil control at the valve stem.

Key Features:

  • Positive stop PTFE design for oil control around the valve stem
  • Smaller diameter than COMP Cams umbrella-style seals, so they can be used with double valve springs
  • Part of the COMP Cams valve seal line, which also includes stock-style GM O-ring seals, umbrella seals and Viton seals for triple-spring setups
  • Available in several valve stem and guide combinations. Choose the variant that matches your valve and guide

Installation Note: PTFE seals require the cylinder heads to be disassembled. The top of each valve guide must be machined with a special cutter before the seals are installed.

Made by COMP Cams, a respected name in performance valvetrain components. These seals are a practical upgrade for engine builders who want better oil control at the valve guides.
