MAHLE Piston Support Rail Bore

MAHLE oil ring support rails, also called piston support rails or oil ring spacers, are made for engine builders and rebuilders who need a dependable base under the oil ring assembly. The support rail sits at the bottom of the oil ring groove. The oil ring rails and expander stack on top of it.

Key Features:

• Helps keep the oil ring assembly from rotating in the groove, which supports cylinder seal and reduces friction
• Helps the ring get the gas pressure it needs at high RPM
• Helps restore original new-part clearances and full compression in worn ring grooves
• Has a dimple that locates in the wrist pin notch area to hold the rail in place
• Built to MAHLE's quality standards for performance and rebuild applications
• Available in multiple bore ranges, so you can choose the one that matches your engine build
