Mishimoto Performance Bar and Plate Intercooler Kit for Ford Ranger EcoBoost

The Mishimoto Performance Bar-and-Plate Intercooler line is a direct-fit upgrade for the factory charge air cooler on EcoBoost-powered trucks. It is built to lower intake air temperatures and reduce restriction. Whether you need a front-mount intercooler, an intercooler upgrade kit, or a matching intercooler piping set, this line gives your turbocharged engine cooler, denser air for more consistent power.

Key Features:

• Bar-and-plate core: a durable core designed for strong heat transfer and resistance to heat and boost pressure.
• TIG-welded construction: cast-aluminum end tanks are precision TIG-welded to the core for pressure tolerance and reliability.
• Improved cooling and flow: compared with the stock intercooler, the design offers more core volume and fin surface area. This lowers outlet temperatures and reduces pressure drop.
• Mandrel-bent aluminum piping (kit versions): the pipes remove the restrictive bends of factory piping and replace the stock rubber and plastic components.
• DuraCore silicone couplers and clamps (kit versions): Mishimoto silicone boots with DuraCore technology and high-torque worm gear clamps hold securely under boost.
• Easy installation: CNC-machined quick-disconnect inlet and outlet connections simplify installation. The intercooler does not interfere with active grille shutters or adaptive cruise control.
• Tuning-ready bungs: integrated bungs can be drilled and tapped for a boost sensor or water-methanol injection.
• Lifetime warranty: backed by the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Mishimoto is known for performance cooling components that are engineered, tested and dyno-proven. Choose the variant that fits your build and enjoy better heat management and more consistent performance.
