ACDelco Automatic Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly with Pulley

The ACDelco automatic drive belt tensioner assembly with pulley keeps the correct tension on the serpentine (accessory) drive belt. Correct tension helps the alternator, power steering pump, water pump, and A/C compressor turn reliably. This tensioner is also called a belt tensioner or serpentine belt tensioner.

Key Features:

• Complete assembly with an integrated pulley, so it is ready to install
• Automatic spring-loaded design that keeps belt tension steady as the belt wears and the engine load changes
• Helps reduce belt slippage, squealing, and premature belt wear
• Engineered to meet the quality standards expected of ACDelco, a General Motors parts brand

A worn tensioner can cause belt noise, belt wear, and accessory problems. Replacing it with an ACDelco assembly helps restore proper belt operation. It is also good practice to replace the drive belt at the same time.
