Diode Dynamics Max White SAE Fog Light Pod

The Diode Dynamics SS3 Max White SAE Fog LED Light Pod is a 3-inch round LED fog light (also called an auxiliary fog lamp or LED pod) built for drivers who want much more output than a factory fog lamp. It combines high-output automotive-grade LED emitters with custom TIR optics. The result is a wide, even fog beam with high-intensity light across the whole pattern.

Key Features:

• SAE fog beam pattern: The wide 80-degree spread lights up the area directly in front of the vehicle. It works well as an upgrade to factory fog lamps.
• Max-series output: Osram HX Boost LED emitters and custom TIR optics give a 6000K cool white output. It matches the look of modern factory LED lighting.
• Road-legal design: The fog pattern meets the SAE J583 standard for fog lamps. When installed as a pair and aimed per your state's regulations, it is designed for on-road use.
• Durable construction: Powder-coated aluminum housing, polycarbonate lens, rubber gasket and a pin-fin heatsink for passive cooling.
• Weather resistant: IP69K-rated sealing and a wide 9-30V operating voltage range.
• Easy connection: An integrated Deutsch-style (DT) connector on the back makes wiring simple.
• Optional backlight: Backlit versions add an accent glow behind the lens. It works independently of the main beam.
• Engineered and assembled in the USA by Diode Dynamics.

The Stage Series SS3 line is available in several configurations, including bracket and wiring options for different mounting needs. Check your local laws on aiming and use before installation.
