Gates SID Coolant Radiator Hose

The Gates SID Coolant Radiator Hose line is a factory-style molded coolant hose, also called a small I.D. molded coolant hose. It suits the smaller, tighter-fitting engine compartments found in many modern vehicles. It works as a replacement radiator, heater or bypass coolant hose, and it can also carry water or air.

Key Features:

• EPDM construction: The EPDM tube and cover are engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, a leading cause of hose failure.
• Reinforced build: Synthetic fiber knit reinforcement adds strength and durability.
• OEM-style molded shape: The hose is made to follow OEM-style routing for a close fit in tight engine bays.
• Specification compliance: Meets SAE 20R3 Type EC Class D-1 and D-2 specifications.
• Wide temperature range: Rated for -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C) in coolant hose applications.
• Versatile use: Suitable for coolant, water and air applications, and approved for marine use.

Not intended for fuel or oil transfer. Gates recommends replacing worm drive and spring-loaded clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed. Gates is a well-known name in belts, hoses and cooling system components, so this line gives you a dependable replacement for worn or leaking coolant hoses.
