Baer Brakes Pro+ Rear Brake System

The Baer Brakes Pro+ Rear Brake System is a rear disc brake upgrade kit for street, restoration and performance builds. It replaces factory rear drum or older disc brakes with a modern 6-piston caliper and a two-piece vented rotor. Baer builds it as a complete bolt-on system, so you get stronger, more consistent stopping. It also keeps a working parking brake.

Key Features:

• 6-piston (6P) caliper: Made in Phoenix, AZ, and CNC machined from US-sourced forged or billet aluminum, with a powder coated finish.
• Staggered pistons: The staggered layout helps reduce uneven pad wear.
• Stainless steel internals: Pistons, abutments and noise suppression clips are stainless steel.
• Dual sealing: Dust/weather and pressure seals protect the caliper. The seals are DOT compliant.
• Two-piece vented rotors: Each rotor has a billet aluminum hat and comes pre-assembled with NAS high-grade stainless hardware. The two-piece design helps manage heat for consistent braking.
• Integrated park brake: Baer's backing plate mounts the caliper and also houses a modern one-piece park brake shoe assembly. Park brake cables are not included.
• Hoses and hardware: Stainless braided brake hoses and mounting hardware are included. The hoses are DOT approved.
• Common pad type: The caliper uses the widely available D0731 brake pad shape.

Pro+ systems are offered in several configurations to suit different rear axle and housing-end setups. Baer recommends checking the wheel template for the system you choose against your wheel to confirm clearance.
