Straightline Performance Ice Scratcher Replacement End Hand Cable Type

Straightline Performance replacement ends restore cable type snowmobile ice scratchers. They are also called ice scratcher end fittings or scratcher tip holders. The ice scratcher is a snowmobile cooling accessory. It throws snow onto the heat exchangers and hyfax slides in low-snow conditions, which helps keep engine and track temperatures under control. This replacement end lets you refurbish a worn or damaged scratcher without buying a complete kit.

Key Features:

• Replacement end designed for Straightline Performance cable type ice scratchers
• Works with the Straightline scratcher design that uses full stainless wire cable and ends for long service life
• Built to accept Straightline's replaceable carbide scratcher tips, made by Woody's. The tips are sold separately.
• Large mounting base design helps avoid rail wear
• Simple bolt-on replacement, with no need to replace the whole scratcher assembly

Check the markings on your original scratcher end to confirm which version you need. A fresh end helps your scratcher keep cooling effectively and protects your hyfax slides.
