Elgin Small Block Chevy Cam and Lifter Kit Lift Duration

Elgin Small Block Chevy cam and lifter kits (also called camshaft and lifter sets or cam/lifter kits) pair a performance-ground camshaft with matching lifters for small block Chevrolet V8 engines. Each kit is designed so the cam profile and lifters work together. That makes it a simple way to refresh the valvetrain or change an engine's power characteristics.

Key Features:

• Camshaft and matching lifters supplied together in one kit for the application
• Available in a range of lift, duration and lobe separation profiles, from mild street grinds to more aggressive performance grinds
• Hydraulic and mechanical flat tappet designs in the product line
• Intended for small block Chevy V8 engines using a flat tappet valvetrain
• Built by Elgin Industries, an engine component manufacturer in business since 1919

Elgin cam and lifter kits give you a value-oriented route to better throttle response, torque and power. Choose the lift and duration that suit your engine combination, compression, converter and intended use. Check each item's listed specifications to confirm the right grind.
