Velocity Boiler Works Automatic Vent Damper

The Velocity Boiler Works Automatic Vent Damper (also called a boiler flue damper or automatic flue damper) helps gas-fired boilers run more efficiently. It opens the vent when the boiler fires so combustion gases can leave safely. It closes the vent during the off cycle, which helps keep heat from escaping up the chimney or vent.

Key Features:

• Opens automatically on a call for heat and closes when the boiler is idle
• Reduces standby heat loss to help improve seasonal heating efficiency
• Motorized operation on a 24-volt supply
• End switch (proving switch) ties into the boiler control circuit
• Built from durable materials for repeated cycling
• Made by Velocity Boiler Works, the maker of Crown boilers, for use with compatible boiler models

This product line gives hydronic heating systems dependable vent control. Several vent damper options are offered within the line.
