Stud Boy Shaper Wear Bar Ski-Doo Carbide

Stud Boy Shaper Wear Bars are carbide-tipped snowmobile ski wear bars (also called ski runners, skegs or carbides) for Ski-Doo sleds. The patented Shaper design is meant to improve steering and handling on the trail. It uses a concave, hourglass-style side profile instead of a plain round bar.

• Concave Shaper profile: the side profile grabs and holds snow, which gives more positive, precise turn-in than conventional round bars.
• Large 60-degree carbide: gives control and long wear on hard-packed snow, ice and other hard surfaces.
• Lighter weight: about 20% lighter than conventional round wear bars.
• Corrosion-resistant finish: the steel bar has a protective plated or coated finish to resist rust. It also keeps paint out of the threads.
