Caleffi Hydraulic Separator Sweat Connection

The Caleffi Hydro Separator (548 Series hydraulic separator, also called a hydronic separator or low-loss header) has sweat union connections. It hydraulically decouples the primary and secondary circuits in hydronic heating and cooling systems. The separator creates a zone of low pressure loss. Flow in one circuit does not create or interrupt flow in another, which eliminates pump conflict.

• Thermowell tap: A 1/2" straight female thermometer pocket tap supports temperature monitoring.

Performance: The separator is suitable for water and non-hazardous glycol solutions up to 50%. The maximum operating pressure is 150 psi.
