Caleffi NPT Male Automatic Air Vent

Caleffi NPT male automatic air vents (also called automatic air eliminators or float-type air vents) remove trapped air from hydronic heating and air conditioning systems without manual bleeding. Each vent has a threaded male NPT connection and a brass body. This makes it suitable for boilers, radiators, baseboards, radiant floor loops, hydraulic separators and other hot water heating equipment.

Key Features:

• Automatic air removal: A float-operated mechanism vents air as it collects, so you don't need to bleed the system by hand.
• Brass body: Durable construction for long service life in hydronic systems.
• Male NPT threaded connection: Installs directly into standard female NPT ports.
• Protective cap design: Depending on the model, the vent has a hygroscopic safety cap that closes the air discharge if it contacts water. Some models add an anti-drip cap or a check valve.
• High-capacity options: Select models have an enlarged float chamber that collects larger volumes of air from the water.
• System protection: Removing air helps reduce corrosion from oxygen pockets and pump cavitation, which extends system life and improves performance.

Caleffi is an Italian manufacturer of components for heating, conditioning and plumbing systems. These air vents are compact and simple to install. They give hydronic systems dependable, low-maintenance air removal.
