Hooker Competition Shorty Headers Painted

Hooker Competition Shorty Headers are performance exhaust headers (also called shorty headers or exhaust manifold replacements) built for enthusiasts who want a noticeable gain in exhaust flow at a sensible price. They replace restrictive factory cast manifolds with tuned-length steel primary tubes. This line has a painted finish.

Key Features:

• Mandrel-bent steel tubing: keeps tube diameter consistent through the bends, which helps exhaust flow and keeps the metal strong.
• 16-gauge construction: sturdy yet lightweight tubing with durable welds.
• Tuned-length primary tubes: help exhaust pulse scavenging for better performance.
• 5/16-inch machined flanges: give a reliable seal at each exhaust port while staying pliable enough to maintain header integrity.
• Long transition collector: helps reduce back pressure.
• Painted finish: a heat-cured, high-heat-resistant paint is the standard finish on Hooker Competition headers. Hooker also offers its Ceramic Thermal Barrier Coating as an option.
• Installation hardware: the hardware needed for installation is included with the headers.

Hooker Competition Shorty Headers are designed for a direct, trouble-free fit. They are a practical bolt-on upgrade for street and performance builds.
