Mapco Rack and Pinion Assembly Remanufactured

The Mapco remanufactured rack and pinion assembly (also called a steering rack or steering gear) restores precise steering control and dependable performance. It is a complete replacement unit built to meet or exceed OE specifications. The rack and pinion converts the rotation of the steering wheel into the side-to-side motion that turns the wheels.

• Shafts and housings are polished, and bearings and snap rings are replaced
• Seals, PTFE rings and O-rings are replaced with new OE-equivalent components
• Electronic solenoids are tested for proper operation on applicable units
• Protective coating is applied, and bellows and fasteners are included
