Metzeler Karoo Rear Motorcycle Tire

The Metzeler Karoo rear motorcycle tire is a dual sport and adventure tire for riders who split their time between pavement and dirt. The Karoo family is Metzeler's off-road-oriented line of enduro and adventure tires. It is built to hold up on mixed terrain, and the rear tire is designed to put power to the ground.

Key Features:

• Rear-specific design: The tread and knob layout are made to deliver drive and traction under acceleration and braking.
• Dual sport and adventure tread: Knobby tread blocks give grip on loose dirt, gravel, sand and mud. They are also shaped for stable, predictable handling on paved roads.
• Modern rubber compounds: Compounds across the Karoo range are tuned for abrasion, cut and tear resistance and for long mileage. The goal is to balance off-road durability with on-road grip.
• Carcass construction: The carcass is engineered to handle loaded adventure bikes and to absorb impacts from rough terrain.
• Stability and control: The profile and knob spacing are intended to give smooth corner entry and steady handling across a wide range of riding conditions.

Whether you ride on long adventure tours, on dual sport trails or on your daily commute with some dirt mixed in, the Metzeler Karoo rear tire is a versatile choice. It comes from a long-established motorcycle tire maker with a strong reputation in adventure and off-road riding.
