Fischer & Plath Aluminum Seal Washer

Fischer & Plath aluminum seal washers (also called aluminum crush washers, sealing rings or gaskets) create a leak-resistant seal under drain plugs, sensors, switches, and fluid and oil line fittings. The aluminum is soft enough to compress and fill small imperfections between the fastener and the mating surface.

Key Features:

• Aluminum construction: The material compresses under torque to seal against oil, fuel, coolant and other fluids.
• Flat, consistent profile: Each washer has even thickness and a clean sealing surface, so it seats evenly.
• Wide size range: The line covers many inner diameter, outer diameter and thickness combinations, so you can match the washer to your fastener or fitting.
• Common applications: Use them on drain plugs, chain tensioners, temperature sensors, switches and banjo-style fittings.

Installation note: Aluminum seal washers are single-use. The washer compresses when tightened and will not reseal reliably a second time. Install a new washer each time the plug or fitting is removed.

Fischer & Plath supplies replacement parts for European vehicles. These washers are a low-cost way to keep fluid joints sealed during routine maintenance.
