Lau Single Inlet Blower Wheel Diameter CCW Rotation

Lau single inlet blower wheels with counterclockwise (CCW) rotation are centrifugal fan wheels, also called squirrel cage blower wheels. They move air in direct drive HVAC and heating equipment. Each wheel is a single inlet design. Two wheels can be mounted back to back to stand in for a double inlet wheel.

Key Features:

• Single inlet design: Suited to compact housings where airflow needs to be controlled.
• CCW rotation: Rotation on a single inlet wheel is determined by looking at the backplate, which is the closed side opposite the inlet. Choose the rotation that matches your motor and housing.
• Direct drive: Made to mount straight onto the motor shaft.
• Galvanized construction: Galvanized steel resists corrosion in moist environments.
• Boreable hub: On many models the hub can be bored out to fit larger motor shafts, up to 5/8 inch.

Typical Applications:

• Packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) systems
• Room air conditioners
• Fan coil units
• Draft inducers
• Power burners
• Heaters
