Fireye Quartz Window for Union

Fireye quartz windows are replacement optical windows for Fireye flame scanner union and sealing coupling assemblies. They are also called union quartz windows or flame scanner quartz windows. Each window sits between the burner sight pipe and the scanner. It lets the flame's ultraviolet signal reach the scanner and helps seal the combustion chamber from the scanner.

Key Features:

• Quartz construction: Quartz transmits UV radiation well and tolerates the radiant heat of industrial burners.
• Pressure sealing role: Fireye's scanner literature calls for a union coupling with a quartz window when a scanner must seal against pressures above its standard 1 PSI rating.
• Replacement part: Replace a pitted, clouded or damaged window to help restore a clean flame signal and avoid nuisance 'no flame' shutdowns.
• Fireye OEM design: Made for Fireye union and sealing coupling assemblies used with Fireye UV flame scanners in boilers, furnaces and other industrial combustion equipment.
• Contaminant protection: Helps keep dust, moisture and combustion byproducts away from the scanner.

Each variant in this line is matched to a specific Fireye union or sealing coupling assembly. Choose the window by its part number. Fireye is a well-known maker of flame safeguard controls and flame scanners for commercial and industrial burner management.
