Fram Extra Guard Round Plastisol Air Filter

The Fram Extra Guard Round Plastisol Air Filter is a replacement engine air filter. It is the first line of defense for your engine. It keeps road dust, dirt and debris out of the intake so the engine can breathe clean air. Also called a round engine air filter or round air cleaner element, it is a simple, dependable way to keep up with routine maintenance.

Key Features:

• Advanced filter media: Traps dirt and debris while allowing good airflow to the engine.
• Plastisol round construction: The round design uses plastisol end caps, which are built to resist fatigue and hold a seal around the perimeter.
• Engine protection: Helps keep harmful particles out of the combustion chamber, which supports engine performance and acceleration.
• Easy installation: Remove the old filter, seat the new one so it seals around the perimeter, then replace the cover and fasten it. On-pack directions and illustrations are included.
• Routine replacement: Replace at the interval in your vehicle owner's manual. Fram recommends about every 12,000 miles or 2 years, depending on driving conditions.
