Hercules Avalanche XUV Studdable Winter Tire

The Hercules Avalanche XUV is a premium studdable winter tire (snow tire) designed for crossovers (CUVs) and SUVs. It is built to give confident traction on snow, slush and ice. It carries the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) symbol, which shows it meets industry snow performance requirements for severe winter use.

Key Features:

• Snow Grip Technology: helps with acceleration and braking on winter roads.
• Snow Grabber Grooves: the winterized tread pattern traps and holds snow in the tread. This adds snow-on-snow traction.
• Thin-gauge sipes: they put more tread in contact with the road for better grip on slippery surfaces. They are also designed to help extend tread life.
• Tailored tread compound: developed for CUV and SUV use, it gives a more responsive ride in cold conditions.
• Studdable construction: stud pins can be added for extra ice traction where local regulations allow.
• Symmetric tread design: helps reduce uneven wear and prolong tread life.
• Slush and water evacuation: longitudinal and lateral grooves help channel water and slush away to reduce hydroplaning risk.

The Avalanche XUV suits drivers who want a dedicated winter tire for SUVs and crossovers. It is backed by the Hercules Performance Promise. Studs are not included and need to be installed by a tire professional.
