Maxitrol Modulating Gas Valve with Low Fire Adjustment HVAC Control Valves & Actuators

Maxitrol modulating gas valves with low fire adjustment give HVAC and heating equipment smooth, continuous gas flow control. They are also called modulating gas valves, modulating valves or Selectra gas valves. They are built for use with the Maxitrol Selectra electronic modulation system. Instead of cycling on and off like a conventional gas valve, they adjust the flame continuously in response to the control signal. This helps hold steady discharge air or space temperatures.

Key Features:

• Infinite, continuous flame modulation with no mechanical linkage or motor-driven butterfly valve needed
• Low fire adjustment lets the installer set the minimum firing rate
• Designed for Selectra systems, working with Maxitrol amplifiers and temperature selectors
• Gas type compatibility that includes natural gas and LP gas (check the product literature for the specific model)
• Common applications include makeup air units, space heating equipment and atmospheric or direct-fired burner systems

These valves are part of Maxitrol's M and MR series of modulating valves. Models are available for different burner types and pipe connections. For safe, reliable operation, installation should be done by a licensed gas fitter.
