Xylem Service Package Cover Assembly for Steam Traps

The Xylem Service Package Cover Assembly for steam traps is a replacement cover assembly for Hoffman Specialty steam traps. Hoffman Specialty is a Xylem brand. Use it to rebuild a worn or failed steam trap, including float and thermostatic (F&T) and inverted bucket traps. Also known as a steam trap cover kit or replacement trap cover assembly.

Key Features:

• Cover assembly that includes the cover casting, internal trap components and cover gasket, depending on the trap series
• Internal parts come pre-assembled to the cover. This makes a complete rebuild quicker and more consistent
• On trap designs with the piping connections in the cover, the cover can be replaced without disturbing the piping
• Hoffman Specialty float and thermostatic trap internals use stainless steel components, including the valve pin and seat, float and lever assembly
• Restores proper condensate drainage and air venting in steam heating systems

Installation Notes: Before servicing, the trap's internal pressure must be 0 psi. Remove the cover bolts and the old cover assembly, and scrape off the old gasket. Clean the body gasket surface, then install the new gasket and cover. Tighten the bolts in the pattern the manufacturer specifies. Prime the trap before returning it to service.

Each part number in this product line is matched to a specific trap series and model. Choosing the correct service package helps keep steam systems efficient and extends equipment life.
