Xylem Cover Gasket for Float Thermostatic Steam Traps

The Xylem Hoffman Specialty cover gasket for float and thermostatic (F&T) steam traps is a replacement service part. It seals the joint between the trap body and the cover. Use it to restore a leak-free seal when you service or rebuild a steam trap, and to keep steam and condensate inside the trap.

Key Features:

• Replacement cover gasket made for Hoffman Specialty float and thermostatic steam trap service
• Seals the body-to-cover joint so steam and condensate stay in the trap
• Fits the cast iron body and cover construction used in Hoffman Specialty F&T traps
• Backed by Xylem, the parent company of the Bell & Gossett and Hoffman Specialty brands
• Available in multiple part numbers to match different trap series and pipe sizes

Float and thermostatic traps use a thermostatic element to vent air at start-up and a float assembly to drain condensate. The manufacturer's service instructions say to clean the gasket surfaces and install a new cover gasket whenever you reassemble the trap after inspecting internal parts. A fresh gasket helps the trap hold pressure and run reliably. Select the child item that matches your trap model.
