Xylem Replacement Casting for Series Low Water Cut-Off

Xylem replacement castings for McDonnell & Miller low water cut-offs are made to restore the body of a steam boiler low water cut-off or pump controller. If a casting is worn, corroded or damaged, you can replace it and keep the existing control instead of replacing the whole unit. McDonnell & Miller is a Xylem brand. It makes boiler controls, liquid level controls, low-water cutoffs and flow switches for steam and hot water boilers in industrial, commercial and building applications.

Key Features:

• Replacement casting for McDonnell & Miller low water cut-off series
• Made to fit the original control design for the series it is listed for
• Lets you service the control body without replacing the entire low water cut-off
• Helps keep boiler safety controls working as designed
• From Xylem, a manufacturer of boiler controls

Low water cut-offs protect a boiler by shutting off the burner when the water level drops too low. Xylem advises dismantling, inspecting and cleaning these controls at least once a year and checking their calibration and performance. Install the replacement casting following the manufacturer's instructions for your series. Use the correct head gasket with it when the control is reassembled.
