OE Pro Synchro Ring Gear Porsche Transmission

The OE Pro synchro ring (also called a synchronizer ring, blocking ring or synchro cone ring) is a replacement manual transmission part for Porsche gearboxes. It sits inside the transmission and helps you shift gears smoothly.

What It Does:

• Matches the speed of the gear being selected to the speed of the shaft before the gear engages
• Uses friction surfaces to synchronize gear speeds before the dog teeth mesh
• Helps prevent grinding and gear clash during shifts

Why Replace It:

• Worn synchro rings can cause grinding, difficult engagement or gears that pop out
• Replacing worn rings restores smooth shifting and protects the gears and other transmission parts
• Synchro rings are normally replaced during a transmission rebuild, when the mating gears and hardware are also inspected

Each part number in this product line covers a specific Porsche transmission application. Choose the variant that matches your gearbox and gear position.
