Mikuni Pilot Jet for Yamaha Carburetors

The Mikuni pilot jet, also called a slow jet or idle jet, is made for Yamaha carburetors. It meters fuel through the idle and low-throttle circuit. This circuit controls starting, idling, off-idle response and smooth running at small throttle openings. Mikuni is a long-established carburetor manufacturer, and its jets are used as both original equipment and replacement parts.

Key Features:

• Meters fuel in the pilot (slow) circuit for steady idle and clean low-speed throttle response
• Machined from brass for consistent flow and durability
• Available in multiple jet sizes so you can tune the pilot circuit for your engine, exhaust, intake and altitude
• Replaces worn, clogged or damaged pilot jets
• Suits Yamaha carburetors that use Mikuni-style pilot jets

Choose the size you need from the variants listed on this page. A fresh, correctly sized pilot jet can improve cold starting, idle quality and low-speed driveability. Tuning changes to the intake, exhaust or air filter may call for a different size.
