Mikuni Pilot Jets for VM, RS and HS Carburetors

Mikuni pilot jets (also called slow jets or idle jets) are precision-metered brass jets for Mikuni VM, RS and HS series carburetors. The pilot jet controls the fuel supplied to the engine at idle and in the low throttle range, so it directly affects idle quality, off-idle response and cold starting. Use these jets for carburetor tuning, jetting changes after engine or exhaust modifications, or replacing worn, damaged or clogged jets.

Key Features:

• Made by Mikuni, a long-established Japanese carburetor manufacturer used on motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, karts and other powersports equipment
• Precision-machined brass construction for consistent fuel metering
• Designed for Mikuni VM, RS and HS series carburetors
• Available in a range of jet sizes so you can tune the low-speed fuel mixture to your engine, altitude and temperature conditions
• Simple to install and swap with basic hand tools

Fine-tuning the pilot jet helps correct a rich or lean idle, hesitation or bogging off idle, and poor low-speed running. Select the jet size that matches your tuning needs from the available options.
