MSD Smart Ignition Coil Big Wire Kit - LS Engine

The MSD Smart Ignition Coil Big Wire Kit is a coil-per-cylinder performance ignition upgrade for LS engines. It pairs MSD Smart Coils (IGN-1A style) with heavy-gauge harnesses. Together they support longer dwell times and a hotter spark for racers and performance builders. It works with Holley EFI and many other aftermarket EFI systems.

Key Features:

• Supports dwell times of over 5 milliseconds, so the Smart Coils can reach their full output
• Peak output of about 50,000 volts and about 190 millijoules, for more complete fuel burn in each cylinder
• Built-in ignitor works with Holley EFI and many other aftermarket ECUs
• Terminated harnesses with 7-pin connectors plug into a Holley LSx main harness or a factory GM LSx harness
• Harnesses are labeled for GM and Ford cylinder banks, and also work with the Holley universal near-plug coil harness
• Same wiring pinout as other IGN-1A coils, which makes upgrades easy
• Elongated mounting holes let the coils replace IGN-1A coils. They also bolt in place of factory LS coils with 72mm bolt spacing
• Bolts directly to Holley cast aluminum LS valve covers for a clean look
• Maximum operating voltage of 17 volts, so it suits both 12 volt and 16 volt systems common in performance and race applications
