Belimo Control Valve Cv Chrome Plated Trim

Belimo Characterized Control Valves (CCV) are HVAC control valves for chilled and hot water systems. They are also called characterized ball valves or CCV valves. Each valve combines the tight close-off of a ball valve with a characterizing disc. The disc gives the valve an equal percentage flow characteristic, which is comparable to a globe valve of the same nominal size. This line has a chrome plated brass trim.

Key Features:

• Chrome plated brass trim on the ball and stem for durability in water-based HVAC systems
• Characterizing disc gives precise, stable control at light loads
• Cv values comparable to globe valves of the same size, which reduces the need for pipe reductions
• Stable control that helps prevent control loop hunting, which supports component life and energy efficiency
• Fluid compatibility with chilled or hot water, up to 60% glycol
• Internal thread (NPT female) end fittings for straightforward piping connections
• High body pressure rating on standard CCV models
• Two-way and three-way patterns for both modulating and diverting or mixing applications

These valves suit air handling units, fan coil units, and other terminal-unit and general HVAC applications. Belimo valves are designed to work with Belimo valve actuators. Refer to the technical data sheet and installation instructions for the specific model before installing or selecting an actuator.
