The Johnson Controls VG1000 Series ball valve with spring-return electric actuator is an HVAC control valve assembly. It regulates the flow of hot or chilled water in heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems. Depending on the model, it can also regulate low-pressure steam. The valve responds to commands from a building controller. The spring-return actuator drives the valve to a set fail-safe position if power is lost. This line is also sold as a motorized HVAC zone valve or an electric actuated ball valve.
