Continental SportContact XL Performance Summer Tire

The Continental SportContact XL Performance Summer Tire is a high-performance summer tire built for drivers who want sharp handling, strong grip and stable high-speed performance on dry and wet roads. The line is part of Continental's SportContact family. Its reinforced Extra Load (XL) construction suits performance cars, sport sedans and coupes.

Key Features:

• Summer performance compound: It is designed to deliver high grip and responsive handling in warm conditions.
• Extra Load (XL) construction: The reinforced build supports higher load capacity and inflation pressure than a standard-load tire of the same size.
• High speed ratings: The line is engineered for high-speed stability and confident steering response.
• Wet and dry traction: The tread design helps channel water away to resist hydroplaning while keeping a large contact patch for cornering and braking.
• Precise steering feel: A stiff, stable tread and shoulder structure improves turn-in and on-center feedback.

Backed by Continental's engineering experience in the OEM and performance tire markets, this tire suits drivers who want a dependable summer tire for spirited daily driving. As a summer tire, it is not intended for use in snow or near-freezing temperatures. Each variant differs in size, load index and speed rating, so choose the one that matches your needs.
