Zimmermann Formula Z Two-Piece Vented Brake Disc

The Zimmermann Formula Z two-piece vented brake disc (brake rotor) pairs a lightweight aluminum hat with a high-carbon friction ring. It is built for drivers who want better braking performance and a sportier look than a standard one-piece rotor offers.

Key Features:

• Two-piece construction with a separate friction ring and center hat, which reduces weight and helps manage heat
• Internally vented friction ring for efficient cooling and consistent braking under repeated use
• Floating-style design that lets the ring expand with heat, which helps limit warping and distortion
• Engineered by Zimmermann, a German brake specialist known for OE-level quality and precision manufacturing
• Corrosion-resistant coating on the hat for lasting appearance

Reduced unsprung weight can improve steering response and ride feel. The vented design also helps keep braking performance steady during spirited street driving. Pair these discs with quality brake pads for best results, and always follow proper bedding-in procedures.
