Lennox Thermostatic Expansion Valve Ton

The Lennox Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV), also called a thermal expansion valve or metering valve, is an OEM replacement part for Lennox split-system air conditioners and heat pumps. It controls how much liquid refrigerant enters the evaporator coil. It does this by responding to superheat, so the coil is neither flooded nor starved.

Key Features:

• OEM Lennox replacement part, matched to Lennox residential and light commercial equipment
• Adjusts refrigerant flow automatically as load conditions change
• Helps keep evaporator superheat steady for consistent cooling performance
• Helps protect the compressor from liquid slugging and refrigerant flooding
• Supports system efficiency and long-term reliability
• Available in different capacities, refrigerant types, and connection configurations to suit different Lennox systems

A valve that is correctly sized and rated for the system's capacity and refrigerant is important for proper superheat control and refrigerant charge management. Using the manufacturer-specified Lennox TXV helps restore factory performance when servicing an HVAC system.
