Carlson Brake Parts Drum Brake Hold-Down Spring Kit

The Carlson Brake Parts Drum Hold-Down Spring Kit is a replacement drum brake hardware component. It holds the brake shoes against the backing plate. Hold-down springs, also called brake shoe hold-down springs or drum brake hold down spring sets, work with pins and cups to keep the shoes properly positioned while the vehicle is driven and braking.

Key Features:

• Designed as a direct replacement for worn or fatigued hold-down hardware
• Built to meet OE requirements for fit, form and function
• Made from quality materials intended to hold up to the heat and dirt inside the brake drum
• Helps support quiet, consistent and reliable braking performance

Drum brake hardware works in a harsh environment and is subject to heat and wear. Industry guidance is to replace the hardware whenever the brake shoes are replaced. Fresh hold-down springs help restore like-new brake performance and reduce noise. Carlson Brake Parts offers a wide range of drum and disc brake hardware, so you can match the correct kit to your application.
