Product Details

The Platinum Pro turbocharger intercooler, also called a charge air cooler (CAC), is a replacement part for turbocharged engines. It cools the compressed air leaving the turbocharger before that air enters the engine. Cooler intake air is denser, which supports efficient combustion, steady power output and safe operating temperatures.

Key Features:

  • Direct-fit replacement designed to match the form, fit and function of the original equipment cooler
  • Aluminum-based construction for effective heat dissipation
  • No drilling or modifications needed for installation
  • Helps restore performance and efficiency lost to a leaking, cracked or damaged charge air cooler
  • Helps limit heat soak and reduce the risk of detonation under load

A failing intercooler can cause boost loss, reduced power, poor fuel economy and higher intake temperatures. Replacing it with a Platinum Pro charge air cooler helps restore proper boost delivery and drivability. Select the child item that matches your application to get the correct design for your engine.

Wow, this was the easiest sale I’ve ever experienced. Very impressive! All I had to do was click Apple Pay! Thank you!

Very simple to find and order my parts I need!

Awesome doing business

100%

This site is set up well. I like the layout as it's easy to navigate.

So far straight forward process. Shipping seems a bit high.

GOOD EXPERIENCE SO FAR.

Autoplicity had the part I needed at a reasonable price, so I ordered 2. Always good to have a spare for next time. It's the control panel for my RV refrigerator. The total was enough for free shipping, but they offered 2 day shipping for $10 extra. I chose the expedited delivery, since my fridge wasn't working. They packed and sent it the same day, but it took a week to get here. I don't say that as a complaint about them. I'm in the middle of nowhere, so I wasn't surprised that it took a week. When I asked for the extra delivery fee to be refunded, they refunded it right away. Anyway, the fridge is cooling again. I'm happy! :-)

Shopping was simple and check out was quick.
