ATE Parking Brake Adjusting Screw

The ATE Parking Brake Adjusting Screw is a replacement parking brake adjuster, also called a parking brake adjusting screw assembly or rear brake star adjuster. It is used in drum-in-hat and rear drum parking brake systems. It keeps the parking brake shoes at the correct distance from the drum so the parking brake engages properly.

Key Features:

• Replacement adjusting screw assembly for the parking brake mechanism
• Lets the parking brake shoe clearance be set accurately during service
• Made by ATE, a brand known for its brake engineering and OE-supplier heritage
• Helps restore even parking brake holding performance and a consistent pedal or lever feel
• Suited to brake service, including when parking brake shoes are replaced

Replacing a worn, corroded or seized adjuster helps the parking brake hold the vehicle reliably. Each part number in this product line is made for a specific application.
