Clevite P-Series Performance Main Bearing Set

The Clevite P-Series Performance Main Bearing Set is a high-performance engine crankshaft main bearing line from Clevite (Mahle). P-Series is the oldest of Clevite's high-performance bearing families. These sets are for builders and rebuilders who want more than a standard replacement main bearing.

Key Features:

• TM-77 tri-metal construction with a hard steel backing for strength and durability
• High eccentricity narrows the bearing contact pattern and increases oiling to the rod bearings
• Full-groove design on most P-Series main sets to maximize oil flow
• High crush for maximum bearing retention in the housing bore
• Reduced overlay thickness helps prevent overlay fatigue, sometimes called hen tracking
• Unique performance part numbers, separate from Clevite's standard passenger car and light truck bearings

P-Series main bearings suit high-performance, street/strip, towing and heavy-duty diesel engine builds where improved oil delivery and bearing retention matter. Check each part number's listing for application details and available sizes. Some applications may also need a separate thrust washer set.
