Carrier Ionizing Wire for Electronic Air Cleaners

Carrier ionizing wire is a replacement part for Carrier electronic air cleaners. It is also called an ionizer wire or charging wire. The wire creates the electrical field that charges airborne particles as they pass through the cleaner, so the collector cells can capture them. Replacing worn or damaged wires helps the air cleaner keep working as designed.

Key Features:

• Replacement ionizing wire made for Carrier electronic air cleaner systems
• Charges airborne particles such as dust, pollen, smoke and pet dander so the collector cells can capture them
• Helps restore air cleaning performance when wires have broken, corroded or become coated with buildup
• Serves as a maintenance item, so it can be changed during routine cell cleaning and service
• Matches Carrier's specifications for use in its electronic air cleaner cells

Replacing the ionizing wires at the recommended service interval helps your Carrier electronic air cleaner keep improving indoor air quality. Always turn off power to the unit before servicing it. Select the child item that matches your air cleaner model.
