Carrier MERV Air Filter

Carrier MERV air filters are pleated HVAC replacement filters, also called furnace filters or AC filters. They help keep the air in your home or office cleaner. They capture airborne particles such as dust, pollen, lint and pet dander before the air circulates through your heating and cooling system.

Key Features:

• MERV-rated filtration: MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) is the industry-standard scale for how well a filter traps airborne particles. A higher rating means finer filtration.
• Pleated synthetic media: The pleated design gives a large surface area for trapping particles.
• Range of ratings: Carrier offers filters across several MERV levels. Lower ratings give standard filtration with strong airflow. Higher ratings capture finer particles such as smoke, bacteria and fine allergens.
• System compatibility: They are suited to residential furnaces and air conditioners.
• Easy replacement: Swap the filter at regular intervals to keep air quality and system performance up.

Higher-MERV filters can restrict airflow in some HVAC systems. Check your equipment's requirements when choosing a rating. Replace filters regularly. Typical intervals run from about every 3 months for 1-inch filters to longer for thicker media filters.
