Carrier Reversing Valve with Coil

The Carrier Reversing Valve with Coil is a replacement heat pump reversing valve (also called a four-way valve) that includes a solenoid coil. It redirects refrigerant flow so a heat pump can switch between heating and cooling modes. Each version in this line is made for Carrier heat pump systems.

Key Features:

• Bidirectional flow control: Reverses refrigerant direction so one outdoor unit can heat and cool from a single compressor.
• Solenoid coil included: The coil shifts the valve between heating and cooling positions when it is energized by the thermostat control signal.
• Brass valve body: The valve has multiple tube connections for the refrigerant lines in the outdoor unit.
• Carrier heat pump replacement: Restores reliable mode changeover when a valve or coil has failed or is stuck.

A failed reversing valve or coil can leave a heat pump stuck in heating or cooling, unable to switch modes, or running inefficiently. Replacing the valve involves recovering refrigerant and brazing the connections, so a qualified HVAC technician should install it. Choose the right child variant for your system's connection requirements.
