Carrier TXV Expansion Valve Kit

The Carrier TXV expansion valve kit line, also called a thermostatic or thermal expansion valve (TXV) kit, is made for Carrier HVAC air conditioning and heat pump systems. A TXV is a metering device. It lowers the pressure of the liquid refrigerant and controls how much enters the evaporator coil. This keeps the coil supplied with the right amount of refrigerant as temperature and load change.

Key Features:

• Precise refrigerant metering: adjusts flow based on the temperature of the refrigerant leaving the evaporator, which helps maintain proper superheat.
• Compressor protection: helps make sure refrigerant reaches the compressor as vapor, which reduces the risk of liquid slugging.
• Efficient cooling: consistent refrigerant control supports steady cooling performance and system efficiency.
• Genuine Carrier replacement parts: built to original equipment specifications for use in Carrier HVAC systems.
• Sweat-style connections: installs with standard refrigerant line brazing practices.

Replacing a worn or faulty expansion valve can restore proper refrigerant flow and help prevent problems such as poor cooling and coil icing. Select the capacity, connection type and refrigerant that match your system from the available options.
