Auveco Spring Type U-Nuts

Auveco spring type U-nuts, also called U-type clip-on nuts, spring nuts, speed nuts or sheet metal U-nuts, give you a threaded fastening point on a panel edge or a pre-punched hole. The nut slides onto the panel and grips it with spring tension. You can then drive a machine screw or tapping screw into it without reaching the back side of the panel. They suit automotive trim and body panels, brackets, and general-purpose sheet metal assemblies.

Key Features:

• U-shaped spring steel design that clips onto the panel and holds itself in place during assembly
• Steel construction with a protective finish for corrosion resistance
• Built for a specified panel thickness range and center-of-hole-to-edge distance, so the fit on the panel is secure
• Useful for fenders, bumpers, grilles, hoods, trim, brackets, and similar mounting points
• Auveco products match applicable IFI standards
• Cross-referenced to common OEM and aftermarket replacement numbers

Several screw sizes, panel ranges, and finishes are offered in this product line. Choose the child item that matches your screw size and panel thickness. Auveco is a long-established supplier of automotive fasteners and clips. These U-nuts are a practical choice for repairs, restoration work, and shop stock.
